Getting our son's car to him over 1,200 miles from our home was easy once I found AmeriFreight and our service rep, Maleah. I was kept informed of the process. I rejected an initial bid as being too high and well above the "instant quote" received on their website. There was no problem in doing this and waiting for a better price; my final bid was $30 above the quote -- so be advised that this is possible/probable, but you don't need to take the first bid. Additionally, the delivery date was 2 days past the "expected date," so if you need the car on a specific date you will need to pay the higher price. I used the most flexible/cheapest rate. The car was delivered 2 days past the expected date. Because I had flexibility this was not a problem. Overall, if you need to transport a car, AmeriFreight is a great option based on my experience.
