Shipped my car using Amerifreight on June 1 cross country. CSR Harry Davis was very helpful in connecting me with a reliable carrier. He reached out to me every step in the process including after pick up and delivery. The carrier they selected for me was easy to reach and responded quickly to questions as well. I did end up paying about 400$ more than initial quoted price, but the quote I had received was provided during the COVID peak so prices had gone up in the weeks following. They were quick to present me with different carriers and prices and helped counsel me on if I could risk waiting for another carrier or not (my understanding is that all the brokers list their clients on the same central dispatch system and present offers which carriers accept or counter - so the price is kind of a bidding system which they cant truly control). Amerifreight was offering a discount for health care workers (essentially didn't charge a deposit / their own fee) which made the price competitive compared to other companies. I've shipped my car with other companies before who have not been as responsive, which I think is very important if you are entrusting someone with your car, and so I was very satisfied with the service and price. I would definitely utilize Harry's service again. Thanks!
