Vehicle was transported on schedule. Only a few things that I have to comment on. After calling to get information on estimated time of arrival of my vehicle. A dispatcher called to say that it would be delivered between 10:00 a.m and 4::00 p.m. on the following day. Got a call at 6:30 the next morning from the driver to say he was about to deliver my vehicle. OK with that. When I met up with the driver, I got out of my car and with no words spoken he said ... here, SIGN THIS. I told the driver that I would like to inspect the vehicle before I signed the release papers. Main Comment: I have only had 1 car transported 1500 plus miles before, via open carrier, but know that my other vehicle (which was also white in color) was not "drenched" in oil from the what must have been the truck exhaust. My white car was the color of motor oil. I couldn't have found a nick or scrape if I had spent 30 minutes inspecting it. I took a couple of minutes and hoped everything was alright., and with a feeling of hopelessness of not knowing that It was OK, ( I signed). I do appreciate the fact that the vehicle was transported within the time frame that I was told. But I had to spend a lot of my time at the car wash and then again at home, scrubbing oil film off my entire car to make sure that it was truly a white car I purchased, and not the color of motor oil.. I guess that is what open carry gets me.
