I started my search for a company to ship my vehicle from WA to VA and immediately found a ton of negative reviews and mixed information regarding shipping a vehicle. After days and days of research I came upon Amerifrieght and got in contact with Brandy who was very helpful. What I thought was great is when I spoke to them they told me how everything works in the industry and took a lot of time answering my questions. They stayed in contact with me every step of the way and my car was shipped and arrived without a issue. A couple things to note if you are looking to ship that I didn’t expect or realize. 1. Getting a hard date for pickup is not realistic when you first set it up. They will post your shipment to the board and it gets bid on by the trucking companies, then a date is set. Amerifrieght like others are brokers. 2. Companies don’t seem to bid on your shipment until a few days or so out from the timeframe it is available to be shipped. This is because their schedules are always in such flux they need to be sure they can actually pick it up. The bigger the time frame the cheaper and easier. You can narrow to a hard date but it will cost you much much more to do so. Regardless I was very concerned about shipping my vehicle and using this company everything went great!
