This was my first time to ship a car like this. As soon as I inquired about shipping, I was inundated with calls, emails and offers many of which were obviously ridiculous. After several days of research, I narrowed it down to three, one of which was AmeriFreight. I spoke extensively with all three and finally chose AmeriFreight, based in no small part to the professionalism and helpful attitude of Maleah Sanders. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to all others. AmeriFreight is at the high end of the cost scale but with the exception of the unpleasant driver, I feel it was worth it. Picking the booking company is only half the fun. Then came the actual carrier. Maleah recommended a company with high ratings who just happened to be in the area and was "immediately" available. Well, not quite. He was to pick up the car on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. He never showed up and didn't call to say he wouldn't be there. I called Maleah to inquire and she offered to find another carrier. The driver called and tried to chew my ass for calling the Maleah. I should have fired him then but I didn't. He promised to pick up the car first thing Monday morning. He didn't. He had excuses and finally got it late on Monday. From that point, everything went pretty smoothly. He showed up about 2300 on Tuesday and we got the car unloaded. Throughout the process he was a very unpleasant, whiny individual, complaining constantly. I was glad to see him leave. His name is David and I certainly wouldn't recommend him, but AmeriFreight was just fine.
