We initially called Amerifreight months before our move; our sales rep gave us a low quote ($929), and the process seemed straightforward enough. But then she disappeared over the holidays (a planned vacation and then an extended illness), and as our move date approached, we couldn't get in touch with anybody. Finally a supervisor took on our account, and we were able to find a carrier for $1,300 a few days before our move. Overall, much more stressful and more expensive than we initially thought this would be (at that price, we would have gone with a full-service broker, had we known the difference would only be about $100). Pickup went smoothly, with great comms from the driver, but then somehow we got a different driver for the delivery, and on the day the carrier notified us the car would be delivered, there was no sign of it, and no contact from the driver. Finally, after 8pm, the carrier's dispatcher let me know the car wouldn't be delivered until the next day. Pretty frustrating in the end, but the car arrived without any damage (although it was filthy). My Amerifreight order number was 1501807593-MS
