Just had a vintage 2 door sports car with an extremely low under-carriage clearance shipped from California to Texas. I have had unpleasant results with other Car Transport Companies in the past, and was worried that I was going to get what I paid for here. What a pleasant surprise this turned out to be. AmeriFreight and I discussed the clearance issue and decided that an enclosed Truck would be best due to their lift & ramp set-ups. Yes typically an enclosed Truck is more expensive, but I received a great price quote for this job. I was not promised this price, because it is bid on by Top-Rated trucking outfits that need to complete their loads within a reduced time frame. Also we had the restriction of a Saturday only pick-up day. My AmeriFreight representative was Kay. She stepped me through the process and was in constant contact with me from my first call to after the car's delivery. The Trucking Co. that accepted AmeriFreight's quote had a beautiful new enclosed Truck , Picked up on Saturday, and used added ramps to avoid the low car clearance issues. The car arrived to Texas in perfect condition. For me, FIVE STAR RATING. BIG Thanks to Kay & AmeriFreight!!!
