I was hesitant about shipping my car from WA to MS because it's so old (2000 Civic). Sure it was probably not worth the cost, but I decided to ship it to be used as a second car since I haven't had any issues with it ever (No this isn't a Honda ad). I believe Samantha Smith at AmeriFreight sensed my hesitance, but she didn't pressure me one bit. She found a transporter quickly and before I knew it, the car was loaded and on the way to Mississippi. It is a little scary handing over your car keys and hoping it shows up on the other end almost 3000 miles away. When I reviewed the transporter online, it didn't have the hottest reviews, but at that point I couldn't do much because I had already signed the papers. The car was picked up at midnight on 8/19/2019. Ben said he could come in the morning, but I was okay with a late night pick up. The car was dropped off in Mississippi again around midnight on 8/28/2019. The estimated date of delivery was 8/31/2019 so I was pleasantly surprised it was dropped off early. I got a call the day before that they would be coming by that night if I wanted to meet them or I could just get it dropped off the next morning. I did end up meeting them at Walmart (which was fine with me because it's only five minutes away) and did a quick exchange of car and cash. Overall I would highly recommend AmeriFreight and I found Samantha explained the process thoroughly and accurately. I asked her a zillion questions and she patiently answered every single one. She's also easy to get a hold of if you have any more questions! The price was average, but definitely the service was great!
