I really enjoyed working with Danielle at AmeriFreight. The contract for the bid was easy. My husband and I received several confirmations and updates along the way. Most of the communication was clear and efficient. I am only not giving 5 stars because the quote I was given was about $200 less than I actually paid (which was still at least $200 less than just about everyone else). They do tell you that your actual price may be higher than your quoted price, but what they didn't say upfront is that it's possible that people may overlook your bid because they want more money. When you're moving across country on a fairly strict timeline it's not exactly comforting to hear that you may have to leave your car behind until someone decides to accept your money. However, once we learned this, we were able to make a higher bid and get our car picked up within the time frame that worked best for us. The driver was super sweet. He showed up about an hour early on both ends (he said one time, but overshot a bit and we weren't ready). He was patient and easy to work with. Our car showed up unharmed and in one piece. I would definitely recommend that you use AmeriFreight. I hope (for my sanity) that I never HAVE to ship my car cross-country again, but if I do Amerifreight will be my first call.
