Richard from Amerifreight was great! He was very responsive and helpful. Made me feel like my car was good hands. The car came in perfect condition and there were no issues with the car itself. However, did not enjoy experience with WTK which is the 3rd party that transported the car. They did not call me 24 hours in advance to let me know they were coming and didn't tell me until last minute that they had arrived. They first told me they wouldn't get here until 5 or 6 in the evening so I stayed at work. Last minute, they tell me that they were already here at around 2:30 pm which I couldn't get home in time. I asked them to give me until 3 pm which i would be able to get home and they replied saying something along the lines "We are not waiting for you. We have a tight schedule and we will back, not sure when." That was frustrating because I had to be flexible with them since they didn't even give me a heads up when they were coming and when I asked them to be flexible b y 30 minutes, they said no. Also on arrival, when they were bringing my car down from the trailer, they opened the passenger door for some reason and a bunch of trash fell out and I saw them take a big bag of trash out. Now I don't know why they put a trash bag in my car and it didn't do my car any harm, but just found it odd. They weren't very professional. All in all, I enjoyed my experience with Richard. Great guy! I just didn't like my experience with WTK. How to avoid that.. not sure how. Maybe not contract with them specifically!
