Absolutely horrible

One of the worst experiences Ive had in a long time. The vehicle arrived with an extra 170 miles from when it departed. DMV inspection certificate to prove it, with the same date as the pick up date. There was cigarette ash everywhere and it smelled completely of smoke, even found a cigarette on the floor. The interior was trashed as well. The car now has a horrible rubber burning smell when it drives and the torque converter is likely shot since the carrier had the center differential locked for some unknown reason. The carrier was also using another customers vehicle for personal use. He claimed it was his cousins but later found it wasn't his cousins. He charged at me when I told him that I had spoken with current owners and that he was lying. After the police arrived he admitted that it was not his cousins vehicle and that it was a customers. He traveled 15 miles(30 total) to pick me up in the car, as well as well as back an forth to the hotel they were staying at. They were using e-cigarettes in the vehicle as well. My car was almost missing 40% of the full tank that it had when it was first picked up. AmeriFreight did nothing, shipping company refused to do anything, the driver made threats and tried to force payment and signature. Oh yeah, and the battery was dead. 2014 Toyota 4Runner Limited

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to this customer. AmeriFreight, as a broker, always strives to serve the customer, bearing in mind not to pick sides when there are always two sides to a story. We attempted to resolve the issue with the carrier company, but the carrier company denies all claims and refers back to the pickup inspection report. In other words, the carrier claimed that the customer bought this vehicle without seeing it, and it was in the same condition as it was delivered pointing to the pickup bill of lading that is the pickup inspection report. Furthermore, the carrier states that he gave a $200 discount in the shipment cost purely to provide quality customer service, while still not validating any claims from the customer. AmeriFreight did everything possible to resolve the issue, and we are sorry for any inconvenience caused to the customer.
