The overall experience with AmeriFreight was quite good. This past transportation being my very first one I was nervous about finding a carrier that would do a sufficient job without bleeding me dry of my relocation budget.
A friend of mine suggested I submit a quote with AmeriFreight. Before doing so I called the information number to get some more insight into the process and ended up leaving a message. While I was waiting I completed the form for a quote. Before I could finish a representative called to answer any of my questions.
I was assigned a very nice customer service individual who would be my point of contact. It was comforting to have one person who would be the “go to person” for all my questions.
The first step was to put down a deposit. Since this was the beginning of the year and price adjustments had not been rolled through my deposit did not match the price on my quite. I e-mailed my contact and she was quick to respond and refunded the rather small difference nonetheless I was quite grateful for the prompt service.
AmeriFreight assigned me a carrier and ensured that once my vehicle was delivered everything had gone smoothly. It was surprising to see that they were still concerned about my experience even once all the transactions had gone through.
At the end I had my car all the way across the country, which I am very thankful for, and it did not give me any migraines along the way. All in all it was a fairly painless experience with a rather affordable outcome. I have already passed along the recommendations for close friends and will certainly consider AmeriFreight once I have to relocate back across the country.
