This was first experience shipping a car and I was apprehensive, having heard some horror stories. AmeriFreight was the first, and only, company I called. I initially spoke with Harry who was very thorough and explained everything involved. I then had Lecia set up transport who saw it all the way through delivery and followed up by checking to make sure all went well and the car was in good condition on arrival.
I researched the cost to ship a car and found people shipping similar distances (California to the east coast) paid quite a bit so I was worried it might be too prohibitive for me. The cost to ship through AmeriFreight was reasonable, in fact less than I had anticipated. I had read that some people were forced to pay more than was agreed upon at the time of delivery, which was a concern of mine. Once I entered into a contract with AmeriFreight the cost never changed.
The driver, Shane, was great too. He text me before pick up, arrived when he said he would and delivered on schedule. He was very good at communicating with my niece who was receiving the car.
Overall my experience with AmeriFreight was great. I will definitely use them again if I'm ever in need of a car transport.
