If I were to evaluate AmeriFreight solely based on results, I'd give them a 5 star rating. The final price was close to the estimate, the car was picked up and delivered fairly quickly, and in good shape. But there were some hiccups along the way which is why I'm not rating them five stars.
1. The first available transport quote was about $180 higher than their estimate, so I declined it.
2 The second available transport quote and delivery times were fine and I accepted them, only to find that for some reason, that transport didnt go through.
3. The 3rd available quote and delivery time were also fine. I accepted them and that was the one that picked up and delivered my car.
4. Harry Davis was my representative, but I was never able to get him on the phone. Every time I called his line was busy, so I talked to another representative.
5. After delivery, i must have received at least 8 emails and phone messages from Harry requesting that I leave a review and that he saw no reason why it shouldnt be a 5 star review. I felt that the number of notifications requesting a review bordered on harassment and I wasnt comfortable with them.
I'll update this review if there is any need (eg., additional notifications regarding this review).
