This is the 3rd time using Amerifright for services but may be the last time. For the previous experience, Jorge, has been more than helpful and kind in offering assistance. The driver he found has always been friendly, courteous, and on time. However I was not able to deal with Jorge for this time and I can honestly said, they may have just lost a loyal customer. Everything was off starting from the initial bid. I was given a price that was over my maximum limit despite I emphasized what I felt comfortable paying. Soon after I declined the offer, the rep calls me back and said that the driver will be willing to lower the price for $200 which is right above my limit. However, with the god experience in thr past with AmerFreight in the past, I accepted the offer. This is just beginning of bad experience overall. There were no calls or contact before the day of pick up which was odd in comparison to previous experiences and very inconvenient for arrangement for my parents who were preparing for the pick up.The thing got worse as the driver pulled up in front of the pick up and suddenly demanding for additional $200 in cash in additional to the original agreed price which makes the original price that I declined. The driver was rude and ill tempered and my parents who lacks of english communication skills felt pressured into giving the driver money and I felt scammed after discovering this incident. The experience gone worse after. During the negotiation of the contract I was also promised that the car will be delivered in 5-6 days so I made arrangement to leave to country on the 7th day to accommodate the schedule. On the 6th day, there were no calls or contacts from anyone in regards to delivery. I called and talked with Harry in regards to the issue. I told Harry that I have use AmeriFreight in the past and issues that I am experiencing now were unlike my previous experiences. Harry responded "You keep saying that but it doesn't matter." And that is the moment that I know AmerFreight does not care about maintaining existing relationships. After the calls, I still did not received a confirm date for delivery. Since my out of country trip was already scheduled, I have no other choice but ask my in laws who don't speak english to look out for me. The car was finally delivered on the 9th day despite the initial agreement. Through out the experience, I was lied to, my parents and in laws were inconveniently disturb, and I lost trust to AmerFrieight. I will never use them again.
