Changing price when picking up

Amerifreight gave me a quote of $884 originally to transport a Wgoneer from Chicago to Wyoming. When i finally spoke to Samantha, the price went up to $1395. I decided based on the reviews for this company, I would try them even though the price seemed high. I scheduled the pickup and Samantha did not talk to me for a week. I called every day but no one had any news. She called me a week and a day later on a Thursday night saying she had a truck but the price was $1825! I told her nope. She called back in 5 minutes and said $1600. I said nope and the only price I would do would be $1500 which is a lot more! She called back in 5 minutes and said ok they agreed to $1600! I told her that was not the number!. 5 minutes after I hung up again she called back and relented to $1500. What a scam! The picked the truck up on that Friday and the truck was delivered on Sunday. It was in good shape. I blame the broker for these issues and not the shipper!
