Delivery over a week late. No accountability

All in all, AmeriFreight did end up helping to find a driver to deliver my vehicle from Washington state to Georgia. However, the driver was over a week late picking my vehicle up, had very poor communication and failed to update me until several days after the original pickup date, and my vehicle arrived over a week late. Harry Davis from AmeriFreight was helpful to work with, but he nor AmeriFreight seemed to want to take accountability for the network of drivers they use and their late delivery. After my vehicle was delivered, Harry made a comment that made me question his and AmeriFrieght's integrity and also the validity of their 4.5+ star reviews. He said he was not going to send me the survey because he knew I wasn't happy with the driver, even though Harry had provided what he felt was "great" service. This seems deceptive and if I had known this is how AmeriFreight got their ratings, I would not have used them. When I signed up to work with AmeriFrieght, I did so because I trusted them to be an intermediary and fight a great shipper. Partly because of their great ratings. Now, I question those ratings, as should all readers. Also, if AmeriFreight chooses to work with certain drivers who deliver sub-par service, that IS a reflection on AmeriFreight and their business model. I would have rather found a shipper myself, been able to review their credentials and worked with them directly. This would have removed AmeriFreight from the process and saved the $400 they charged for their services.
