OK Customer Service / Great Service From Driver

Jorge was very friendly through the entire process. However, we wished that he was more proactive and that communication was better, considering when shipping vehicles we must go through a broker and are unable to contact the drivers or an actual shipping company ourselves. After placing the order we had to call several times for updates. Nothing happened for a few weeks until just a few days prior to our requested moving date. We were told that his originally proposed quote was too low so he recommended increasing the quote to a much higher amount, to one that would interest a driver into taking the job. At the end of the day our vehicles were picked up on time and delivered early by two days, which was because the driver kept his schedule and nothing delayed him. Roberto, the driver from BH Auto Transport Inc., was a really good guy and stayed in contact with us pretty well. Bottom line, letting customers sit in a holding pattern until their shipping dates are closer to their actual moving date, may be practical from the broker's point of view but if you are moving across the country, this makes planning the rest of your move incredibly difficult. After the completion of the shipment, we have received several phone calls about giving a 5-star review but no proactive calls while trying to get our vehicles shipped. All in all, dealing with any vehicle shipping brokerage company out there is a crapshoot, and there is far worse than Amerifreight. Just do your research and keep names and records of everything.
