A Wonderful Experience

Her grandmother gave our daughter her car, five years old with only 4,000 miles on it. We had the car in Rhode Island, our daughter was in South Carolina. In our local paper were advertisements for shippers to bring cars to Florida, but when we called none would stop in Charleston. I found AmeriFreight on the internet and was impressed with the number and consistency of their customer reviews. I requested a quote and got one back quickly. It was reasonable, and after thinking it over for a very brief time I signed on. I had several very nice conversations with staff at AmeriFreight - and as I write this I would love to give them proper kodos, but my minds is blanking on their names. Awfully sorry about that, but they were pleasant, knowledgable and completely delightful. What a wonderful impression they give the company! Within a week or so a match was made with a truck driving from Rhode Island to South Carolina. The driver's helpers picked up the car at my house and drove it to the truck. Because the car was in such great shape they tucked it in carefully on the top level to keep it from getting road dirt. On time they called my daughter to arrange the drop-off and appeared almost exactly when they had estimated they would. She told me they took the car off the truck very gently and it was in perfect condition. The local shipper was Val-Tran and I can't say enough nice things about this company, too. All in all, it was a very easy, fair-priced, well-coordinated transport. I would, without any hesitation, recommend Ameri-Freight to coordinate moving one of my cars anywhere in the country. It was such a good experience I almost wish I had another car to move, just to enjoy a level of customer service beyond what we have come to expect from others.
