This is my second time using Amerifreight and my experience was relatively the same. They act as an intermediary between customers and shipping companies so experiences vary from case to case. The first time I used them, to ship my Chevy Cruze from Illinois to California, it cost me under $1000 and it was in an enclosed space. This last time, I shipped the same car, the same route (From CA to IL this time), and it cost me almost $400 more and it was in an open carrier. So honestly it depends on who bids on your car to ship it.
