Jorge was very proactive with giving me offers. This was my first time ever shipping a car so I was not aware that everyone you call will be a broker who works to find the best deal for transports even if they own their own trucks. Word of advice that I learned while shopping around. Find out exactly what the brokerage fee is instead of the estimated shipping amount. The brokerage cannot totally control what the transport fee will be as they are a separate party, but the brokerage can control the fee they charge. Also, you get what you pay for. If you pay a smaller fee, they may not work as hard for you. I was very happy with Jorge at AmeriFreight and feel paying their fee was well worth the work they did to make sure our car was shipped safely and with little effort on our part.
