According to the customer service email the pick up date was 01.16.09 but the truck driver contacted me and told me the weather was very bad and he apologized for the delay and picked up the next day 01.17.09 and the delivery date was on 01.22.09 but there was one day delay. The truck driver was so nice I paid him at the pick up date the remaining balance and he delivered my car at the car rental office where I rented a car for two days so I saved the second day car rental. AmeriFreight was the cheapest carrier I found from online quotes (Priority Rate) if you will ship your car I will recommend you this company. One suggestion for Autocarriers, I am not sure why their prices are still so high after the gas prices dropped my cousin shipped his car from OH to WA for $ 1000 that was when the gas prices were $ 4.xx and when I shipped my car the gas prices $ 2.xx, still car shipping prices remaining the same with 100% gas price drops. May be the truck owners/companies are not making the profit but brokers and it is time whoever is making the prices high to reduce since the current economy situation of the country is too bad.
