Well, I was very nervous as this was the first time I've used an open carrier, and the Hummer is my hard-earned baby. I had read all the reviews here but being a skeptic, I still worried.

Amy and Chantelle were both very helpful and courteous at Amerifreight. One word of advice to all who are planning a car move - with any broker, you are in a little way rolling the dice as far as the carrier you get. Meaning that, of course, you car's safety is up to the carrier and driver you get, and that in large part is up to chance as to which carrier is in your area and going the route that you need, at the time you make the reservation. However that chance is much more in your favor when working with a broker who choses carriers with an excellent track record, like Amerifreight does. I was still a bit worried because the carrier I got - All States Auto Transport from Miami - had not worked with Amerifreight before. Amy reassured me they had a great record with other brokers and good safety record. Anyway, the driver Jordan arrived on the scheduled date and was very professional and courteous. We exchanged cell numbers and I kept in touch with him a few times throughout the journey. Thankfully, the weather was good for the entire journey as well.

The Hummer arrived at its destination in NJ, over 1200 miles away, less than 48 hours after being picked up. It arrived undamaged and in perfect condition, not even dirty, thanks to the good weather. So needless to say, I am happy and relieved that everything went great with the shipping, and I thank the driver Jordan for being careful and professional. The staff at AmeriFreight were great, and I would not hesitate to use them for any future car move.
