After looking up ways to get the bus I bought across the country, I called Ameri-Freight. They subcontracted out to another towing company, who took my vehicle all the way across America, but refused to take it down my driveway. That's not Ameri-Freight's problem, really, because they weren't involved beyond subcontracting. And that's the sum total of my experience with Ameri-Freight.
They did a competent job setting up a vehicle transport. I called whenever there was trouble, and I was either left on hold until I couldn't stay on hold anymore, or nobody answered and I left a message. I was able to figure out how to solve the problems on my own, fortunately.
Had I been wiser beforehand, I might have skipped the middle-man and booked the second company myself.
