My initial representative at Amerifreight seemed a bit incompetent but I requested a different representative and Graham Turner was very helpful and on the ball. Their website advertises that they will look to get you the best bid/price for your shipment but that did not seem to be evident from my conversations with them. Given I had the constraints of a two day window for pickup (but flexible drop off date) it seemed to automatically increase the price to a set amount. This set amount I was generally ok with, however there was no communication that they made any effort to negotiate it down or if they offered a lower number to shipping companies. Perhaps my two day shipping window did not allow for that, but nonetheless my expectations were not met in that case. Overall, happy with the experience and I would use them again and recommend to friends and family. The car arrived without any problems except for the need for a good bath after the trip!
