Very good overall - but check out shipper access to your house!

Ameri-Freight (Lecia) did a very good job, exactly as they told me they would do. Once we completed initial paperwork, they identified a car hauler and made all arrangements for me to meet with them to ship my car. They contacted me again, after the expected arrival date, to confirm that all went as planned.

The shipping company also did as promised, in terms of picking up our car and delivering, basically on time - got there the day after we expected, arrived the day after as well but I think this is fairly normal given the fact that the shippers often have to wait longer than they expect for customers to deliver cars to them, unexpected road delays, etc. No problems with the shipper overall.

My only word of advice is to not think that the shipper will come to your home, or even close to your home. The shipper we contracted with called us on the day of pickup and asked if we could meet at an interstate truck stop because their truck was "too big (80 ft long)" to go into neighborhoods. So we had to meet 8 miles away at a truck stop on I95 and, since I had no one to bring me home, the trucker was planning to drive me back to my house. Fortunately, another person was dropping their car off at the same time and they graciously gave me a ride home. We did not expect to have this issue come up - it worked out ok, but could cause problems for you so be aware shippers may not be able to - or want to - come to your house to get your car.
