Amerifreight was the only company that told me upfront that they are a a broker. They explained the process of how they post the job to a bulletin and actual transport companies agree to take a job for a certain price. Other companies gave the illusion of being transport companies but this is false when you look up their license (they are all brokers).
Amerifreight told me clearly that the price they are quoting is an estimate of what they think a transport company will take based on my flexibility. The more flexible you are with dates the lower price you can get.
They did say that the price could be slightly higher but in the end it was still cheaper than other companies.
Because anerifreight was honest about being a broker, explained the process, and gave a lower reasonable quote I chose them. Based on this experience I will choose them again.
