Overall, I am not impressed with the whole thing

Graham and a couple other people at AmeriFreight were very courteous and knew their job very well. I do believe that they were honestly trying to get my vehicle from one place to another in the most efficient way possible. Ultimately, however, this process is at the mercy of the driver. It's mostly my naivety of how interstate car transpo works. The price ended up being in line with what the other companies had quoted, so in that I can't complain too much. However, the first driver flaked on us, told three people, three different stories, and left without saying anything. A second driver was fine, but picked up and delivered 2 days earlier on each end than the contract stated. Also, the price went up a not-inconsiderable amount and it left me feeling a little jacked.

I'm not sure if I would ever do interstate car transpo, again. I'd probably sell the car or drive it. If I did have to, I would call AmeriFreight first for a quote, though. (That said, I'd still get other quotes, too.)
