AmeriFreight did a great job arranging our vehicle move from Idaho to Florida. They also followed up to make sure the car was delivered on time in good condition and asked for comments on our experience. Clearly they are concerned about overall customer satisfaction and looking for opportunities for improvement.

AmeriFreight offered both an economy and a priority quote. We chose the priority rate which assured pickup within 48 hours. The total cost of this move was $1,300 (including the addition $175 priority fee). It was explained that the priority fee is passed on the haulers as an incentive. It was also explained that the priority fee helps avoid addition fuel charges we read about when researching. While this was not a guarantee it did appear to work. They had three immediate responses to move our car the same day we accepted the quote. We asked Amerifreight to select the best of the three biding companies.

This was our third car move and our previous experience with another company left us gun shy and worried. The previous mover delivered our cars to a local terminal for us to pick up. The terminal turned out to be a nasty, dirty, auto wrecking yard 20 miles away. YUCK. AmeriFreights door-to-door service was a welcome relief. Thank you AmeriFreight. It was a pleasure having the multilevel car transport truck pull into our neighborhood to deliver our daughters car. The neighbors even came out to watch the unloading process (very cool). Our only comment was that Amerifreight was unable not reach the hauler to confirm the anticipated delivery date. However, they did check back with us several times to see if we had heard from the hauler. The hauler did call one day before the delivery and confirmed the delivery time for the next day. He arrived within 3 minuets of his estimate. The total transit time was 11 days. Thank you again Amerifreight.
