I had a VW Vanagon Westfalia shipped from Chicago to California and the booking agent was very nice and informative. The details: It took a month to find a closed carrier, the booking fee was $250, and the carrier wouldn't pick it up for any less than $1,900. I was origionally quoted 1,500, so I thought overall this experience became pretty expensive. On a positive note my vehicle did arrive one day early on the ship date, and in good condition. So there's my experience.
