After submitting an inquiry online, I was assigned an agent who immediately responded with a quote and answered all my questions about the process. I was matched with a carrier near the beginning of the estimated time window (albeit for ~$200 more than the initial quote) and my agent contacted me several days beforehand to let me know the status of the search, which I really appreciated. She then continued to reach out to ensure that both pickup and delivery went smoothly. The carrier I went with, unfortunately, was terribly disorganized, unreliable, and un-communicative - but my AmeriFreight agent was supportive throughout the process and though she was not able to get in contact with the carrier any more than I was, she at least made an effort. I would definitely use AmeriFreight again, but I would be MUCH more careful when vetting the carriers who submit bids.
