Originally, we had our car prepared for transport by another company on July 1, by July 20th, it was still at our origination point in Virginia. When we called AmeriFreight, they took our order, made sure everything was ready, and then within the next business day, i received a call from AmeriFreight that our car had a carrier.

Then the driver at the origination location indicated that our vehicle would arrive by a specific date and he was dead on. The car wasn't that dirty but it's grey to begin with, but with it as an open transport, i'd expect something. In June we had transported another vehicle, and for that car who wasn't transported by Amerifreight, it was extremely dirty - outside only.

The service from both Amerifreight and the driver were great and the transport very timely.

Now the price was a little higher than our first vendor but if the car is in VA rather than being driven by you in your destination location - what good is the 100 dollar price difference. When i inquired with the other car transport company, they asked me to put more money down to lure drivers to pick our car off the bulletin board. So i believe Amerifreight offers a competitive price not only to their customers (US) but also to the transport people so they would be more motivated to pick up your vehicle which in turn makes you a happier person.

Although this transport was not door to door, the driver really tried to get as close as possible. My sister in law used AmeriFreight to go from VA to Montana door to door. I really believe this service depends on the driver and your neighborhood streets.

Would i use Amerifreight again, you bet. Would i recommend this company to you, you bet.
