This is the second time I have had to transport my car across the country for work between California and Texas. The first time I was able to go with a direct service and had a great experience. That company had no availability during my window, and I turned to a broker. I chose Amerifreight based on positive reviews and professionalism, and they did not disappoint. Graham and his team were in constant communication from sourcing bids to confirming pickup, delivery and ultimate satisfaction. While the price ended up being slightly higher than originally anticipated, it was still within reason - and they gave me the option to accept that bid or continue to wait for a better price. The only inconvenience was on drop-off. The delivery driver - though professional - was uncomfortable making the trip into San Francisco, and I was asked to take the train out to San Mateo (about 20 miles south) to get my car. Previously I had used the empty parking lot at AT&T Park as a convenient pickup point (still 5 miles out of my way, but ample room for a trailer and easy on-off highway access). Not a big negative and I agreed to it, but also not door-to-door.

If I use a broker again to ship a car, Amerifreight will be my first call.
