This was my first time transporting/shipping a car. My car needed to get shipped from New Jersey to Missouri. I did a lot of research and finally settled with Ameri-Freight. They had good reviews from many different sources. Bob was our broker who was very informative and honest. He explained all the rates and procedures. I chose a higher rate because I wanted the gap insurance. There were no surprises with the prices. I also liked the idea that the final payment did not get paid until the car was delivered. I did not want to pay the full price upfront like some companies wanted. The only complaint I have is with the transporting company. The scheduled time for the pick up was delayed for at least 5 days. I probably should have changed trucking companies right away, but I did not and perhaps Bob should have insisted. Fortunately I was not on a tight time frame. The good news is that once the car got picked up the truck driver did deliver on time and there was no damages. Took about 3 days. Which is the result I wanted. I had good communication with the truck driver during the transporting. I would definitely use Ameri-Freight again. There was good communication between the broker and I, as well as the truck driver, and the car arrived safely and damage free!!
