Pick up Never Happened

I submited a quote request on 6 May I never received a quote and called on 9 May. My estimate was done over the phone while Amy and Chatel was on the phone with other customers. I received a quote the next day from Chantel. When I received the quote it stated that if I wanted to ship my vehicle priority I had to call. The young lady who answered phone was not aware of this policy and kept asking Amy who was in the background what to do. Amy finally assisted and scheduled my vehicle for pick up. This was 9 May to be picked up on 19 May. After I gave my credit card I was sent a confirmation email stating that I would be contacted shortly with a receipt. I never received the receipt and called back to inquiry. I was told that I wwould receive one after the driver had been contacted. I called several times up until 20 May to see when and if my vehicles would be picked up and I was told that the drivers normally don't schedule until the last minute. (if this is the case why charge a priority fee in advance!)

I talked to Amy on the 20th and 21st and she keep telling me that it would anytime now before they had a driver. Finally she admitted that they had problems finding drivers going to the east coast. If they would have been honest in the first place I would not have waited so long to go to another broker. Unfortunately for me and my family who are moving and our furniture is already in transit, we have to extend in Arizona until I can find another carrier. I have to pay additional hotel fees and will have to pay higher fees to ship my vehicle because they couldn't admit they couldn't get the job done. Some people do have a life and can't wait until a broker can find a driver. This company had enough time to find a driver or at least tell me they couldn't so I could look elsewhere. My family and I have been very inconvenienced and although the ladies were courteous they were not forthcoming with critical information that could have saved us a lot of stress and money!

Before placing his order, the customer was explained that we would do everything in our power to accomodate his scheduling needs; however we would not be able to guarentee exact pickup dates. The customer proceeded with placing his order at the priority rate. The upfront priority deposit allowed the customer to choose the preferred pickup dates within a 1-2 day window. We did everything in our power to secure a carrier for those preferred dates. 90% of our priority orders are picked up within the preferred date window; unfortunately, it did not work out for this customer. The customer received a full refund.
