AmeriFreight brokered the shipment of my vehicle for the cheapest price of the five different companies I shopped. They offered a $35 military discount and a $50 rebate on the order as well. The broker was up front on the process and was able to broker the pickup of my vehicle within 3 days of my first available pickup date. The end price was $100 greater than was first quoted although this possibility was discussed early in the process and the final price was still less than the other companies from whom I requested quotes. Communication was generally good although there were times when I would send an e-mail and have to follow up with a phone call in order to make sure the information was received. The entire process spanned roughly 3 weeks and this happened maybe 2-3 times. The largest negative issue resulted with the carrier who, though nice and efficient, delivered my vehicle with a dead battery that had no issues prior to their handling of my vehicle. I realize this is not within the broker's scope, however, I am also unclear on how and whether or not the broker will provide this feedback to the carrier and this is something I would have liked them to be more informative about.
