Use Amerifreight, their customer service is terrific. Bob was very professional,
courteous and knowledgeable. This was the first time I shipped a car across the country.
Bob explained how the transport industry works, with the brokers and carriers, and
answered all my questions. He gave me a price for shipping my car and told me what the broker fee and carrier fee would be. Also, Amerifreight doesn’t take their fee until the car is on the truck, unlike several other brokers I contacted who wanted their fee when the order was placed and before a carrier was even obtained.
My car shipment was delayed because carriers weren’t bidding for my car at the price being offered. After a couple weeks, Bob increased the carrier fee by taking money out of his broker fee and the car got shipped. Once the shipping Company had my car it was delivered in a timely manner and I was able to know its progress by contacting the shippers directly.
Again, use Amerifreight, they will work for you and with you, and not look to just pocket a broker fee. I was really impressed with their interest in helping me get my car to the west coast to the extent of taking money out of their own pocket. That’s great customer
service and I willl certainly use them again.
