I am rating Amerifreight low because of perceived dishonest promotion of their services They offered me money to write this review. I chose them based upon their ratings. I paid about $200 more than other companies were asking for the same job because I thought they must be the best, based on the ratings.

Now I learn that they pay for them, and only guarantee payment if the rating is 5 stars. If you don't want to give them 5 stars, they expect you to call them to tell them why you won't before posting the review. This I think is deception of the worst sort.

The sad thing is, they did a VERY GOOD JOB getting my car to me quickly and safely. So why buy good publicity when your good work can speak so well for you?

Compensation for reviews or feedback is a commonly used marketing strategy. Most companies especially the highest ranking companies all do it on transport reviews. It is very important for us to know how we perform and how satisfied our customers are with our services. Our objective is to have every customer leave a review. The rebate act as a token of appreciation in doing so. We absolutely do not bribe our customers to leave a 5 star review. If a customer wants to close an order without a review, s/he can still get the rebate. All reviews are taken seriously. We have taken note of the customer's concern on how we promote our reviews and will address it in a manner where it will not be perceived as being dishonest.
