I ordered my car for shipping on Friday with a slightly more privileged service (cost $1250) and was contacted within an hour with availability. This might be the exception, but I was pleased. My car got picked Wednesday of next week at around 1 pm in New Jersey (Princeton) and delivered to California (Mountain View) somewhere between 12 and 5 pm (a friend picked it up for me). The car was a little dusty (because I opted for an open carrier) and there was a little chipped corner near the moon roof which my friend didn't notice, but I didn't mind these too much. Overall, a little expensive, but my car got shipped fast and I saved a lot of rental car expense.
