This was the first vehicle transport service I've ever used. I've heard some horror stories about vehicles being damaged upon arrivals so I wanted to make sure that the company I choose is as reliable as possible.
I did some research on this site and others to narrow down my choices to Magic Carpet and Amerifreight based on the number and the average scores of reviews. Amerifreight gave me a better quote overall so I chose them.
Even with thousands of online reviews with near-perfect scores, I was a little bit nervous. After all companies like Amerifreight and Magic Carpet are not the trucking companies themselves, so everything depends on whether they choose the right trucking companies.
Fortunately, everything turned out to be great. The driver came a couple of days later than initially estimated but Amerifreight did make it clear from the beginning that their dates are estimates since they don't control the trucks themselves.
The delivery was surprisingly right on-time. The car arrived in less than a week in NY but I would expect some variance in the delivery duration depending on the number of cars trucks carry.
Overall, I feel that this is as good a service as you can get in this industry. I'd most likely use them again in the future if the need arises.
