Although the service aggregator, Amerifreight, made the order process simple, the carrier, KB Tansportation only did an adequate job of delivering our car.
Aggregator experience: Because I have a special request, desiring delivery within specific set of dates, I had some difficulty in getting proposals from carriers and aggregators. I did not feel that Graham, at Amerifreight, was especially clear on their guarantees of delivery nor the reimbursement that I would receive if the delivery was not made on those dates. I think this could be spelled out a lot clearer and their website and contract, but Graham did spend the time to explain this so that I understood it clearly, with reference to the contract text.
Carrier experience: Although this review is about the Aggregator, not the Carrier, I want to share our experience with KB Tansportation. In short, the overall experience was adequate, but we were disappointed with the difficulty that the carrier's driver had in scheduling a pickup time and a delivery time. In both pickup and delivery, a process that they estimated would be one hour ended up taking three hours, or more. On the delivery end, the Driver lacked the tools necessary to do the job: his navigation system was unable to find a major hotel, his original cell phone service was discontinued (he changed cell phone numbers in the middle of the transport, without informing the customer). KB Tansportation was helpful, but their driver disappointed.
