I was extremely nervous to ship my brand new car across the country to my new home. I spent a lot of time reading reviews and trying to find the best match. I called on a Monday evening (right before they closed for the evening) and within minutes, they had a carrier to take my car from Milwaukee to California. The tentative pick up was Wednesday, but they didn't actually come until Thursday am. Nationwide Transit, Inc. actually did the physical moving of the vehicle and I was nervous because I didn't look them up or choose them in the first place, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how well things went. The guy who picked up the car was extremely knowledgeable and inspected the car as if it were his own. The car was picked up on a 3 car carrier and taken to Chicago where it was then transferred to a larger carrier to go cross-country. The driver called me 24 hours before he was going to drop the car off and was able to deliver to my new place, even though I live in a very busy area of San Francisco (so that was a major plus!) He said he'd be there between 6-7PM but didn't show up until about 7:30 and then it was actually until closer to 8:30 that my car came off the truck. There was another person getting their car from the truck at the same time and they were having issues so he spent a while dealing with him while I waited. Unfortunately, my car happened to be the first car on the carrier (right on top of the cab) so it was just COVERED in bugs. I could barely see out my windshield. I spent $30 at a full service car wash to get most of them removed, but a few are still stuck. Overall, very pleased with the service and would use them again if I need to move again. Perhaps the trucking company could put some sort of plastic sheet or tarp over the front car as to prevent the beating by the bugs.
