They shipped my car from Lehigh Acres, FL to West Lafayette, IN. When the agent/broker told me they found a carrier for me I asked for their info because I want to look them up and make sure they have good reviews online. The lady assured me it is a good carrier despite the bad reviews because "the driver is old school and doesn't know how to do online marketing". I trusted her but now I realize she just want to close the deal ASAP regardless of the quality of services. My flight leaves on 1/3/2019 early morning so I want my car picked up before that. My contract says initial pick up date is 1/1, but then I was told it would have to be 1/2. On 1/2 after calling the driver multiple times all day, he finally picked up in the afternoon telling me he will do it next day 1/3 at 10 am. My flight leaves at 8 am. When the car arrived, the driver demanded 550 in cash, when the contract clearly says 525 in cash, money order or cashier's check. This resulted in some less than pleasant conversations. On top of that I had to watch the driver handle my car with that attitude. The 250 broker fee is definitely higher than industry average. However the service they provided isn't worth the price. Find your customers' better drivers. What's the point of paying a broker if the customer has to do their own research on everything, and having to deal with bad drivers?
