...I took the big risk of buying car over the internet (there's a first time for everything...) and started looking around for a shipper. I got the usual flood of responses and picked one for price- it pretty quickly unraveled and it became obvious that it was a sham (price rose by $100 after quote, broker asked for a "deposit", the usual signs.) I called Luke at Worldwide and was ready to pay even the elevated price, just to get out from under the scheister. Luke found me a driver very quickly and was able to meet the original low price that I had sought earlier, win-win. Worldwide's process was pretty smooth and my car made it to me within a day. Luke could have taken advantage of my predicament ( I was pretty much resigned to it) but he didn't, he was honest and looked after my best interest, a rarity in most businesses. If I ever buy another car over the net, I will probably call Worldwide to move it.
