I had the WORST experience doing business with Westlake Logistics! I contracted with them to transport my vehicle from Atlanta, GA to Connecticut on December 26, 2016. I was told my vehicle would arrive to it's destination, 3-5 days from the pick up date. My vehicle was picked up on December 29, 2016 with an expected arrival of January 3, 2017. It did not arrive on January 3, 2017. In fact, the whereabouts of my vehicle was unknown for 23 days. When my vehicle did not arrive I had to report it stolen, on January 10, 2017! The owners of Westlake Logistics did not have any information as to the whereabouts of my vehicle. Freddy at Westake Logistics stated if my vehicle ever arrived to the Connecticut destination, I would not have to pay the transportation fee due to everything I went through. On the early morning of January 23, 2017, 23 days later, at 12:30 am my vehicle arrived at the destination. I called Freddy repeatedly because the drivers insisted I pay the delivery fee. I was forced to pay the fee because they would not release my vehicle until I paid the fee. Westlake would no longer answer my calls. I plan to report Westlake Logistics to the Better Business Bureau on Monday morning, January 30, 2017. You should not trust this company with your vehicle. The accountability and core values they reference on their website is fraudulent and deceptive!
