I had an accident while on vacation in Nebraska. It took three weeks to repair the car so I decided to have it shipped to my Illinois location. I took several quotes from vehicle shippers. Prices ranged from $890 to $489. They all said to come to this web site and read their reviews. So I did. I made my choice which was another carrier with good reviews for $560. I called them to set it up. I had their quote in writing but was told the price was now $610 and may go higher if no truckers bid on it. I hung up confused and called Viking which was my second choice. I spoke with Tony who took the time to explain how the shipping process works. I asked Tony if he also would raise his price and he said no. He said the $520 covered the total shipping cost. We agreed on the price. He took a $120 deposit and sent me a contract to sign. I was notified a few days later that the car was assigned to a truck and provided with all the contact information. The company was Old Goat Trucking. I thought "O boy am I in trouble". I was not. They were just as professional as Viking. The driver called when he picked the car up. Gave me the delivery day and called two hours before he arrived. I am very happy with the whole process. What did surprise me was a follow up call from Tony at Viking to make sure everything went well. He asked me to rate the driver and trucking company. In short he cared about what he was doing. If you need a vehicle shipped please give Viking a try. They are professional and caring.
