To induce us into a contract for service, Veloce promised that it could and would transport our vehicle from Miami, FL to be picked up on May 12, and delivered to Waltham, MA on May 20, 2014. Several times Veloce reassured us that they would be able to perform by May 20. Although the vehicle was picked up on May 12, it was not delivered on May 20.

Knowing that it would not be delivering the vehicle on time, Veloce engaged in a series of false representations where every day Veloce represented that the car would be delivered the following day and the following day, Veloce would disappear. This continued for 7 days straight, and, upon the realization that the vehicle would not be delivered as stated, we were caused to make last minute arrangements with rental vehicles or other transportation services each time.

Veloce also refused to provide us with any information concerning the whereabouts of the vehicle despite countless requests made each day that the vehicle was missing. Veloce simply refused to answer telephone calls, return messages, or respond to email inquiries. And when Veloce would respond to an email, its response was always illusive and never advised as to the location of the vehicle.

Below is a summary of the nightmare we encountered dealing with Veloce:
• On the evening of May 20, the day of promised delivery, Veloce represented that transport was delayed and that the car would be delivered the following evening, May 21. On the evening of May 21, Veloce did not deliver the vehicle as promised and was unresponsive to requests and attempts to communicate with them.
• Veloce did not provide information as to the vehicle’s whereabouts on May 22 and stated that it could not reach the driver.
• On May 23, Veloce advised that the vehicle would be delivered the following morning, May 24. Again, on May 24, the vehicle was not delivered. Veloce stated the driver would contact us, but that did not occur. Veloce remained unresponsive to inquires of the whereabouts of vehicle or time of delivery. We advised Veloce that we would be contacting the police and that did not change their behavior or provide us with any information so we contacted the police department in Miami Beach to report the car missing on May 23.
• On May 25, Veloce told us that it would be too inconvenient for them to deliver the vehicle to the Cape Cod because it is now out of the way, even though Veloce had earlier promised that it would deliver “anywhere in Massachusetts,” and therefore, it did not know if it would be able to deliver to Cape Cod.
• On May 26, Veloce confirmed that it would not deliver to Cape Cod, but that it could deliver to Boston on this day. However, Veloce failed to deliver the vehicle in Boston on this day.
• Finally, the car is delivered on May 27 in Boston, with damages and a depleted gas tank.
