My company transported a vehicle for one of their customers resulting in a very bad ending unfortunately. We were promised a cash app payment on delivery which was never received. Do we had to explain to the customer that we could not release the vehicle without payment. The customer, as well as , my dispatcher tried contacting their "accountant" department all day with no response. As a transporter, this is exactly the problem with our industry. Brokers, like this company, whom once take their fee upfront, could care less about the end result. Especially if it results in not having their car released.
