Upscale Auto Transport contracted out KB Transportation Inc. as the carrier to move our vehicle from NJ to Salt Lake City. This move turned out to be a complete nightmare.
The driver from KB Transportation Inc. was irresponsible and extremely unprofessional. After the trip was delayed by almost 3 days due to the truck broke down he refused to deliver the vehicle to the address he supposed to per our contract. Nick had to step in to call the driver and help us coordinate, however, the driver refused to return Nick’s or our phone calls. The driver waited until the last minute to text my husband of the place where he would drop off the car. In the end, we had to spend extra money to rent a car to meet up with the driver at a place of his choice late in the evening so we could get the car.
Despite the issues with the driver from KB Transportation, we would still recommend Upscale because of Nick. Nick from Upscale helped us after another company was a no show. He made himself very accessible during the evenings and weekends to help us get the delivery status and reach the driver when we needed to. Nick made this stressful situation a lot easier as he was there for us every step of the way.
We would not want other people to go through what we had just gone through. As of now, we are still waiting for compensation from KB Transportation for the extra cost we had to incur because of the driver’s refusal to deliver the car to the correct destination.
