Big very careful when choosing a company to ship your vehicle. Unlimited Distance Transport is a shipping broker. They quote low fees for shipping to keep you from going to any other broker. Then after you sign a contract, they put your info on a website and walk away. When they ultimately can’t find a shipper for their quoted low fee, they raise the price significantly.
It’s been 6-weeks since they failed to deliver on their contract, agreed upon date, at their quoted (and guaranteed by “Harry”) fee. I’ve asked for my deposit to be refunded several times, in writing and verbally, and I actually have written promises from “Harry” that my refund is being processed. Of course he was lying.
This morning when I called “Harry”, he suggested that I file a fraud claim with my credit card so he could keep my deposit. I was shocked! He said he’d call me back in “30-minutes”, it’s been 90 minutes. He never calls anyone back.
Unlimited Distance Transport, Inc. is not a reputable company. Look at their reviews. This guy Harry even suggested obvious fraud as a solution!
I will be contacting the State of New York, investigating Unlimited Distance Transport’s bond and filing formal and legal complaints everywhere that I can. I’m not giving away my deposit to these scammers. Listen, anyone can write a review, but if you’re scammed by Harry and Unlimited Distance Transport, Inc., unless you take formal action and file formal complaints, nothing will ever get done and these guys will continue to use fraud and bait-and-switch scams on consumers.
